1. Are you licensed & insured? Yes. Sits & Wiggles is a Limited Liability Company licensed through the state of Oregon. We carry pet care business insurance. In addition, our handlers are background checked, certified in dog & cat CPR & first aid,& are Fear Free Certified. 

2. Can you elaborate on your skills, qualifications & experience? Absolutely! These details are located on the "Our Team" page. 

3. Do you charge for consultations?
No. All consultations are free of charge. This allows all people & pets to become acquainted with each other. 

4. What sets you apart from other pet care pros? 

* Sits & Wiggles handlers are respectful of all people. We don't discriminate based against creed, race, gender, sexual orientation, ability, etc. 

*Although S&W was established in 2021, Keith & Nalina have been providing pet sitting services to the Bend community since 2012. We moved here in 2005. 

* Our business model is structured to "expect the unexpected". We have a second handler available to gracefully take over, should illness, injury or emergency occur. We have never cancelled an overnight booking. Many clients are now with us, as their sitter cancelled their overnight services at the last minute.

* We've provided care on EVERY HOLIDAY SINCE OPENING IN 2021!

* Our handlers are background checked, Fear Free Certified & Certified in pet CPR & first aid.
* Our business is licensed & insured. 
* We have a comprehensive service contract.


* Many of our rates are inclusive. For example, our dog petting & walking rates include two dogs. Overnights include 1 dog & a cat, & an hour long midday visit. Many companies charge extra for the daytime visit.

* We don't charge extra for weekend visits.  
* We don't advertise on our vehicles or our clothing, in order to keep pets & homes safe. 


* Sits & Wiggles, LLC has a small crew of two handlers. Our handlers are the business owners. This is beneficial in many ways. We are completely invested in providing the highest quality of care for our clients. Clients will consistently work with the same handlers. This setup is less stressful on the pets.

* We respect the pets' timeline, space & communication.


* An added benefit is the Bonus Time we provide. This is additional time spent with the pets, devoid of extra cost.

* We offer GPS tracking.
* Keith makes personalized music videos starring our clients' pets.
* All consultations are free of charge.


* Clients return to happy pets & a clean home. We bring our own food & hygiene products. Any dishes or linens we utilize will be cleaned.  

* We are transparent, kind, patient, dependable & trustworthy.
* Rates are clearly posted in our contract, on our website, Google & Facebook. 

* Written updates are sent on every visit, along with videos & /or photos. 


* At Sits & Wiggles, we pride ourselves on maintaining client privacy & providing excellent communication. Handlers don't disclose which client we're caring for or when. We only share photos after the visit has concluded.

* Every client is provided with three phone numbers to call or text us on.
* They're also given emergency contact cards in case their pets are home alone.  

We create play dates for the dogs. 
* There are more perks, but they're surprises for our Wiggly Community. 

5. Do you utilize choke, shock or prong collars? No. We don't use these aversive items, as they've been scientifically proven to be harmful & unnecessary. Aversives cause pain, fear & anxiety in their subjects. They've been banned in many countries. This is dangerous for the animal as well as the human. As Fear Free Certified Professionals, we are trained in how to minimize the potential for fear, anxiety & stress in the pets we care for. 

6. Can you give my pets medicine? Is there a fee?  We  provide management & administration of oral, otic & opthalmic medications, without an additional fee. We will not force medicine. We do not inject medicine. 

7. Are you open on weekends & holidays? If so, do you charge extra fees? Since Sits & Wiggles opened in 2021, we've been open & operating on EVERY holiday. Yes, there is a surcharge for services on holiday dates as well as high demand travel dates such as spring break. We are open on weekends but do not charge weekend fees. We do have after hours fees for evening & early morning hours. After hours fees don't apply to overnight
services. 


8. Do you charge for consultations? No. All consultations are complimentary. This allows all people & pets to become acquainted with each other. 

9. Besides cats & dogs, what animals have you taken care of? Sits & Wiggles handlers have worked with & cared for a variety of animals. Keith has worked with a baboon & a wolf from the movie White Fang. He's also cared for cattle, hedgehogs, peacocks & sugar gliders. Both Keith& Nalina have cared for horses, goats, reptiles, rodents, ferrets, fish, birds, guinea pigs & amphibians. 

10. Is pet sitting the only service you offer? No. We provide a plethora of services including private dog training, dog walking, pet taxi, river & park visits, butte hikes, Sniff Spot adventures, off leash adventures, urgent transport, & wedding attendant services. 

11. Do you service all of Central Oregon? In order to maximize the time we spend caring for pets; and minimize costs; we service a portion of Central Oregon. Our service area includes Bend, Deschutes River Woods, Tumalo, Alfalfa, & select Redmond locations.  

12. What's the difference between boarding & pet sitting? Do you offer both services? Pet sitting is when the sitter provides care in the pet's home. In contrast, boarding is when the sitter provides care in the sitter's home. Sits & Wiggles provides pet sitting services but not boarding. 

13. Where can I find your business listing? Sits & Wiggles is listed in Fear Free Happy Homes, Force Free Oregon, The Pet Professional Guild, Dog Guide Bend, Instagram, Facebook, Google & on Houndzhub.com, 


14. Do you have openings for new clients? We have openings for daytime walks & pet sitting on some days. We have overnight openings for most of 2026. Contact us to see if we have your desired dates open. 

15. Do you welcome the use of cameras? Cameras are welcomed & encouraged! Our privacy & safety parameters mandate that cameras are disallowed in bedrooms & bathrooms of the homes we're staying in. We don't ask clients to disclose if they have cameras or where they're located. We understand that these tools help provide the client peace of mind. We don't do anything that we shouldn't, so we don't have an issue with cameras. 

16. How do your rates compare with other providers? Our rates are competitive with local pet care professionals. They aren't the lowest or the highest. Our rates are value packed, as they include many components. 

17. Will you cancel my overnight job?  Several clients came to us when their pet sitter canceled at the last minute. Having your pet care canceled at without warning is devastating, as some travel plans can never be replicated. These may include weddings, births, funerals or once in a lifetime vacations. In addition, many costs cannot be refunded or credited. Some people had to cancel their travel plans, as they weren't able to locate trustworthy care. Some we were able to assist. Others paid to have a loved one flown in to care for the pets. Sits & Wiggles has NEVER canceled an overnight booking.

18. Will you consume my food or use my shampoo?  Will I return to a messy home?  We bring our own food & hygiene items. We always launder any linens we use, wash any dishes, sweep, etc. You will be welcomed home by happy pets & a clean home!


19. What payment forms do you accept? We welcome Zelle, Venmo, Paypal, check & cash payments. 

20. Do I pay up front? Will you invoice me? Overnight services require prepayment but daytime only services do not. Invoices are sent electronically.

21.  How does the booking process work? Once you've expressed interest in our services, we will schedule an initial  meeting. You will be sent an invitation link for Time to Pet; the program we utilize. You can read & sign our contract electronically. This way, you'll have access to all of our policies & procedures prior to our meeting. Next, will be the consultation & scheduling of services. Scheduling can be done through an app or portal, or via direct communication with us. 


22. How do I know if you were actually at my house? I've had negative pet sitter experiences in the past & am scared to trust someone new. We're very sorry that you've had negative experiences with your previous pet service providers. We empathize with you & understand how challenging it is to trust your beloved pets with someone new. We're pet parents also & have had the same concerns. Sits & Wiggles will do everything within our power to build a strong relationship with you & your pets. The GPS tracking will notify you when a sitter arrives, departs & where they went during the visit.  Also, we send updates along with photos &/or videos on every visit. 
 
We want to be as transparent as possible in order to ease any anxieties & to provide you comfort. Clients are encouraged to utilize cameras; with safety limitations. Providing excellent pet care is our only job. Therefore, we are available to communicate with you via phone, text or email throughout the day.

23. How do you choose which client gets the dates if demand is high? Jobs are booked on a first come, first served basis. Overnight reservations are confirmed once the required payment is satisfied. Clients are welcome to book overnight services up to 18 months in advance. The dates in highest demand are holidays, summer & spring break.

24. Do you take last minute bookings? If so, do you charge extra? If our schedule permits, we will definitely accommodate you! We don't charge last minute booking fees.
