Heat Safety Reminders

Friendly safety reminders. I sat in the car while waiting at school pickup on an 80 degree day. The ignition was off and windows were open. The internal temperature of my vehicle very quickly rose to 100 degrees. Please leave your pets at home, indoors, with access to fresh water. Walk your dogs in the mornings and evenings when the temperature is lower. Provide mental stimulus for indoor time: play with them, give them puzzles or kongs, etc. While it's too hot to walk, go outside for expedient potty breaks.
